Description

Our water trap is particularly effective when used to control micromoth pests in glasshouses. This trap design is also an effective option for some thrip pests. Addition of a small amount of detergent can remove the surface tension of water to prevent escapes and vegetable oil can be added to reduce evaporation of water from the surface.

Our standard colour for the Water Trap is black. This enhances visual contrast and reduces attraction of beneficial insects such as pollinators.
