Dr Sam Jones – Technical Manager
Education: DPhil Chemical Ecology, MSc Entomology, BSc Hons Chemistry, BSc Hons Zoology Entomologist, Chemical Ecologist
I have over five years of experience in developing semiochemical based lures and associated trapping systems for insect pests. I have an interest in all things entomological with a keen knowledge and understanding of insect taxonomy and behaviour, the chemical ecology of insect-plant interactions and communication and Integrated Pest Management (IPM) practices.
Payman Shafighi – Entomological Scientist
Education: Professorship degree Entomology, Master of Business Administration – MBA, BSc Plant Protection
I have over 8 years of experience in Integrated Pest Management (IPM) and biocontrol within the Middle eastern market. I am also an agricultural toxicology expert understanding the chemical effects on pest insects.
Enzo Casagrande – Consultant
I have spent over 25 years working in the semiochemical industry in leading roles designing and developing traps, lures, mating disruption and attract & kill products for several of the key players in the market. In my later years I moved out of semiochemicals explore to conventional agrochemical industry as the global technical manager for insecticides, acaricides and fungicides for a large agrochemical company before returning to green technologies with a major developer of microbial products.

As a company, IPS fully supports any research that will help to sustainably increase crop yields and reduce reliance upon chemical sprays.
